There is a cute movie called Milo and Otis about dog and a cat that go on a grand adventure. I suppose it's a kids movie, but no adult is going to be bored with it. There is a cute bluesgrass song that is played several times during the movie. It's called "Take a Walk"...

Evidentally, Cooper and Mercy had a conversation that went something like this.
Mercy to Cooper "Did you see that? Those people just left us again! They are going on an adventure without us! HEY! Let's go on our own adventure!!"
Cooper "I know where the fence has an opening. Did you smell the great cat poop I found earlier today?"
Mercy: "Forget cat poop, I found a great cat today that kept staring at me. Let's go back to his house and show him who is BOSS!"
so off Cooper and Mercy went. Down Shadybrook, out to river road where apparently, the best place to walk is in the MIDDLE of the road. Fortunately some nice folks picked them up and took them to a vet's office that scanned them for chips and called us. Ironically, the vets office was very near where we went out to dinner... it was a night of driving in circles...
So, Cooper and Mercy have earned the names MILO AND OTIS. At least for today. Oh ya, they got good baths today too, sort of a "welcome home" gift from us! ;)
