blatent advertising...

So I was doing my grocery shopping the other day at Fred Meyer. I peeked into the kitchware area to see if I could find a thermos for Sarah to take to school. On my way back out of those ailes, I saw these cute little red bowls by a "famous" tv chef. I love anything red, so of course I stopped and looked. I was SHOCKED. SHOCKED I tell you, to see the price was $24.99 for three little tiny prep bowls. They probably don't hold more than 1 1/2 cups per bowl and they don't come with lids, either!!!


This of course made me very grateful for my cute little prep bowl set from Pampered Chef ... eight bowls WITH lids for only $20.00. I use these bowls for Sarah's lunches, leftovers, butter, all kinds of things. And clearly they are even a better deal than I had realized!!

I know it sounds corny, but I just love my pampered chef things. It's nice to have products that work as they should and make my life easier. Spatulas that don't fall apart or warp in the pan. A garlic press to make you crave garlic. Measuring cups that make you HAPPY to measure. **Sigh***
